About Elizabeth
Stories have always been the way I make sense of the world. As a screenwriter, director, and producer, I believe the most powerful films, shorts, and series can do more than entertain—they move people, challenge perspectives, and stay with audiences long after the credits roll.
My work lives at the intersection of character-driven storytelling and cinematic atmosphere. I’m drawn to stories about resilience, identity, and the human spirit—often set against the wide horizons and life's crossroads of the American West. There’s something timeless about those landscapes and the people who inhabit them: strength, struggle, redemption, and the quiet courage it takes to choose who you’re going to be.
Through my production work and creative development, I focus on building stories from the ground up—shaping compelling scripts, collaborating with talented artists, and guiding projects from concept to screen. I believe filmmaking is both an art and a team sport, and the best stories emerge when passionate people come together with a shared vision.
I’m currently developing projects with Digital Llama Media, including the Western series Rustler’s Moon, adapted from Jim Jones's novel. The project reflects my passion for bold characters, layered storytelling, and cinematic worlds that feel both classic and fresh.

Director Philosophy
For me, directing begins with character, intention, and the through-line of the plot.
Plot may move the story forward, but character is what moves the audience. I’m drawn to stories where the emotional truth of a character guides every creative decision—from the framing of a shot to the silence between lines of dialogue. My goal as a director is to create a world where those characters feel real, grounded, and unforgettable.
Much of my work is inspired by the spirit of the American West. The Western landscape holds a timeless tension—wide open spaces paired with deeply personal conflicts. It’s a place where questions of identity, courage, loyalty, and redemption rise naturally from the environment itself. As a director, I use that landscape not just as a setting, but as a character that shapes the people who inhabit it.
My directing style blends cinematic storytelling with intimate human moments. I’m drawn to natural light, purposeful composition, and performances that feel honest rather than performed. I believe the camera should serve the story and the actors, capturing the emotional heartbeat of a scene rather than overwhelming it.
Collaboration is at the heart of my process. Filmmaking is one of the most collaborative art forms in the world, and I believe the strongest work emerges when talented artists share ideas, trust each other, and build something bigger than any one voice.
As a director, my role is to guide that vision—to protect the heart of the story while creating a space where creativity can thrive.
In the end, the films I want to make are simple in their intention:
